Many are the renowned actors that as they get older, they intend to continue your career in the world of the film and television industry, but behind the scenes, either directing (as is the case with Clint Eastwood) or working in the production of series and films.
The latest agreement that Apple has reached to feed its original content streaming video service, in addition to the one mentioned in my previous article, is found in the production company Green Door Pictures, a production company owned by actor Idris Elba, an actor who a couple of years ago sounded like the new Bond.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, Green Door Pictures, create and produce new content for Apple TV, both in series and movies format, content that will be available exclusively on Apple's streaming video service. At the moment the economic terms of the agreement are not known, but it is most likely that it participates in some of these projectors, so the agreement should not have come out of anything economic for Apple.
Idris Elba is known for his roles in series such as Luther (available on Netflix), The Wire (available HBO) and the Hobbs & Shaw film, The Dark Tower, throughout his acting career, he has won both a Golden Globe and a British SAG award. Idris Elba's production company has previously collaborated with Netflix in addition to Starbene and Sky One.
The agreement that Apple has reached with the production company Green Door Pictures, joins the one he already has with Ridley Scott, Alfonso Cuaron, Sharon Horgan and Oprah Winfrey. In the coming years, the Apple TV + catalog will be nurtured by very good products, at least if we take into account who is behind the majority of the production companies that have signed a collaboration agreement with Apple.
