A little over an hour ago there was one of those leaks that we always doubt happened by accident. In this "leak", Apple has revealed of course error that will soon arrive new Apple Watch Sport models to the Asian market, a launch to celebrate the Chinese year. Specifically, the two models that you see in the previous image will be launched, one in Golden Yellow and the other in Silver Aluminum, the latter with, if I am not mistaken, higher brightness than the normal aluminum model.
As is common in this type of "leakage", the insights that revealed the new articles it has disappeared shortly after being seen, but not without several media downloading the necessary information to report it. The readable text, translated from Chinese, was «Exclusive models for the Chinese New Year. We celebrate the new year with two special Apple Watch Sport models that will be available until February 22«. Chinese New Year is on February 8.
Apple will make these two models available in areas where the chinese new year is celebrated and it will do so with the previous message that will appear in the Apple Online Store of China, Singapore, Malaysia, Hong Kong and Taiwan, but they will arrive a week late, since they will be available one week from the 15th to the 22nd of February.
So that customers who can buy these two new models have luck, the included strap will be red, but it will have a slightly darker color than the red that is available in other markets. Both models will be available in 38mm and 42mm.
It is clear that Apple knows that the Asian market is very important for its sales.
