That means that for the third season that has not yet started filming, in the series real images of matches of the English football league may appear, as well as their official teams, shields, or real footballers. Undoubtedly a leap in quality that will increase, if possible, its worldwide success.
As published by the sports news website The Athletic, the producer of the Apple TV + series «Ted lasso»Has signed an important license agreement with the English Premier League, for the use of the image rights of all the clubs belonging to that league, and which may appear in the series.
This agreement will allow the production company of "Ted Lasso" to use official Premier League materials, including archive images, logos of the clubs and of the trophy of the league, as well as real pictures of football matches of said championship as part of the series. Such a deal is speculated to have cost around £ 500.000.
All this can already be applied from now on. That means that we will see it in the episodes of the third season, since it has not started shooting yet. The start of said filming is scheduled for January of the 2022.
