try something for free new App Store section

The new business model of mobile applications goes through a trial period first and after this time you should buy or subscribe to continue being able to enjoy that app. And Apple has wanted to gather all of them in a new section of the App Store that has been baptized under the name of «Try Something New».

Developers are opting for the subscription model in their creations. Of course, many of them already offered a trial period before the user decided whether to checkout or not. What has changed now is that Apple has seen that after redesigning the iOS application store, users are discovering more apps and testing them. And the best decision they have made is to create a new section where to concentrate all those apps so that the user takes a decision time.

new section App Store Try Something New

In the App Store of iOS devices (both iPhone and iPad), in the "Today" tab you will see that there is a new section called "Try Something New" and in which Apple has wanted to introduce with the following text:

Make 2018 a year to try and feel new things. Find your new passion with the free trials offered by these apps. You will immerse yourself in long catalogs of content that you can enjoy for a limited time. Have you loved it? Stay with the app. Wasn't it so bad? You unsubscribe and go to the next app on the list. That easy.

Within the new section, Apple has already grouped the apps by theme. At the moment you can find: "Entertainment", "Health and Fitness", "Children", "Leisure", "Well-being" and "Learning and Productivity". The trend is to have a 'rental' of those applications, so that once you decide not to use it, stop paying. In addition, this new method is beneficial for developers, who enter money more often and it is a possible claim by users so that this app in question receives new updates in the future.
