Apple tries to convince Android users to switch to an iPhone with new videos

switch to iPhone videos

Why beat around the bush. That is what Apple will have thought with the new ads that it has posted on its YouTube channel. The truth is that this publication channel has been very active in recent weeks, either to publicize new equipment; either to publicize everything you can do with the new equipment. Or, as is this case: try to 'subtly' convince users of other platforms that your products are better.

Apple has posted two new short videos on YouTube - about 15 seconds each. But this playback time is more than enough to keep what the Cupertino company wants to convey to you. In this case the videos they refer to the App Store, and of course, to the "Portrait" function of the new models.

In the first ad that is called "App Store", as we have told you, it lasts about 15-16 seconds. In it we can see how the Android user, after entering an application store outside of Apple - refers to Google Play - the icon of the selected application - purchased - explodes in his face. When you move to the other side of the screen, the environment is the Apple App Store and is a safe place in which all maintenance is carried out by human editors and is prevented from malware.

In the second of the videos, the central theme is the portraits. Since these reached the iPhone 7 and later, the competition on Android (Samsung, Huawei, ASUS, LG, etc.) has not stopped trying to bring the bokeh effect to all its users. However, as you well know, both in the iPhone 8 and iPhone you can add lighting to the Portraits and get, according to Apple itself, study results. This has not been imitated, at the moment, on Android. Hence, in the video the Android capture image is passed to the iOS side with which to have more game and more finishes than the conventional one. Do you think these are enough reasons to switch from Android to iOS?
