Apple is putting a lot of power on Apple TV, and depending on the region in which you are currently with the device, if you have a second or third generation Apple TV, the new channels will appear in a staggered manner starting in the next few hours in all devices mentioned. Undoubtedly, Apple is taking Apple TV very seriously, perhaps it is a good example of what awaits us since the rumors that Apple plans to launch its own Online Television service.

These new channels will appear in the regions of the United States, United Kingdom, Central Europe, Australia and Canada. The rest of the countries in other regions may receive a channel or two, but certainly not all. Thanks to these new channels a new variety of possibilities will be opened within sports, drama, comedy and a large number of other genres that we can enjoy on the many Apple TV channels.

This is the list of added channels:

  • CBS Sports (United States)
  • USA NOW (United States)
  • Art (France, Germany)
  • CraveTV (Canada)
  • Shomi (Canada)
  • Hopster (UK)
  • FOX Sports (Australia)

In the United States, CBS Sports will allow users to save and watch videos of a wide variety of sports such as the NBA, the NFL or the MLB, among others. This new channel will also have certain additional content, which will obviously be viewed only upon payment of the corresponding subscription.

Outside the United States, in the United Kingdom Hopster is the new arrival, dubbed the children's Netflix, with shows aimed at children and educational games. On the other hand, in France and Germany, users receive the Arte channel, which brings together several genres in the same programming. Australia, on the other hand, will get its FOX Sports channel, while Canada will receive Shomi and Crave TV, the latter being a channel dedicated to broadcasting reruns of popular television series.

Excuse me but you can't complain. At least in your country there is a PHYSICAL Apple Store and the products are marketed. You can buy iPhone, Mac, etc. On the other hand, in my country (Argentina) there are no Apple Store, neither physical nor website. The products do not enter officially and you can only get them if you travel to a country that sells them officially or online at triple the original value, risking that they are not official, used, copies, etc.
So the next time you comment like this, think that you are privileged to have at least one official Apple store in your country, that Apple gives importance to your country. Several countries are like mine and you cannot complain about that. Before complaining like this, think about us next time and feel privileged.
      regards

They fill us with channel windows that are of no use to us… if those windows could be removed it would be a good option.

They can be hidden in case you did not know or if you have not taken the time to investigate it or search for it online 😉

Thanks for the clarification Kevin I do not know this is what I mean if it is true that in Spain we have official stores until there is an agreement but if one day you have them you will see that almost everything is for the United States or China for the rest or we have to wait or it never comes because if it is the same product I do not think it costs so much to do what other companies do and that everyone can enjoy both the product and its applications without having to resort to rejion changes in the settings or anything else. That being translated into the language of the country, I don't know about programming, but I don't think it's that complicated for those people who are used to doing great programs.
If there are a lot of channels but what are they good for if I can't enjoy it in my native language because applications that are in the native language are not created in addition to the original version of other countries, I would enjoy it more and I think it would be more accepted by all

    A greeting

PS: and Alan is an opinion I don't have to keep quiet I don't know about Argentina and if it depended on me I assure you that they would enjoy physical and online stores in Argentina since I consider that everyone should have the same rights.
