Apple updates Apple News news editor

Active users on the Internet are constantly reading articles about very diverse sources: technology, science, travel... there are multiple alternatives to store all sources in one place, but the solution that Apple gave to all these problems was AppleNews, a platform that collects all the articles in a single application.

The news editor used by developers and authors from sources available on Apple News has received quite a major update at the design level but there has also been a major reform of the user interface and now it has another style, more consistent with what is now Apple and iOS 11.

The Apple News news editor layout most akin to iOS 11

Create articles directly in News Publisher with Apple's new web-based editing tool, which lets you choose from a variety of styles and fonts, and easily add images and quotes. Or create articles in your existing content management system and deliver them through the Apple News API.

There are two ways to create content for Apple News: directly from the news editor or manage the articles created from your own website with the Apple News API. They are two valid options that the Big Apple allows so that the information from a large number of news sources reaches the largest number of users and at least in the places where this system is active, it works wonderfully.

The news editor of Apple News has received a facelift as you can see in the image that heads the post. The objective has been begin to standardize the design of the platforms to iOS 11 and the iCloud online web. In the new editor there are three tabs: Articles, Analysis and Configuration. In each of the sections there will be a sidebar with more options to enter.

In addition, in the central part of the main page they have been included more visual graphs and data on the number of users who see the articles, the number of likes, the times they have been shared… In addition, the fonts of the entire platform have also been modified to give a feeling of being a compact platform for the public.
