Apple Watch in September, iPhone 12 in October.

We are well into the second half of 2020 and we still have to know the big Apple launches for this year. Jon prosser has revealed all the presentation and launch dates of the iPhone 12, 12 Pro, iPad and Apple Watch, and you are sure to get a surprise.

Jon Prosser, who competes directly with Mark Gurman to become the new guru of leaks about Apple, has revealed in a tweet what could be the presentation and launch dates of the new products that Apple will launch between now and the end of the year. According to that tweet, we will have presentations and launches in September, October and November., so go preparing the credit card.

According to Prosser's forecasts, During the second week of September, which begins on the 7th, we would have the launch of the new Apple Watch and the iPad. This launch would not be made at any special event, but a press release would be published directly and the devices would appear in the Apple Store for reservation. We don't know much about these models, but they are not expected to be anything “revolutionary”. The Apple Watch would include a blood oxygen sensor, without major changes, and the iPad would simply have an improvement in its processor, without expecting a change in design or screen.

In the month of October we would have an event in which the new iPhone 12 would be presented, both the "normal" and the Pro model. Different screen sizes, OLED screen for all models and improvements in the camera with the inclusion of a LiDAR sensor on the Pro models would be some of the expected changes. This event would take place in the week beginning October 12, with iPhone 12 pre-orders that same week., and shipping the following week. Pro models would have to wait to be reserved until November, with no specific date yet.

That the launch of the new iPhone was going to be later than usual was already something that was expected after confirmation by Apple, and there was also much talk about a staggered launch, with the iPhone 12 available before the 12 Pro, something Apple already did with the iPhone 8 and iPhone X. We will see if Prosser's forecasts are fulfilled.
