Apple will offer money to Android users if they buy an iPhone

Android has more and more market share and inevitably, the rest of operating systems have less and less. This also affects iOS, which despite being in good health, is seeing how its most direct competitor is escaping without being able to hunt it down.

For attract Android users to iOS, Apple is preparing an incentive program through which they will pay a customer who buys an iPhone if in exchange they give up their old Android or Blackberry mobile. Obviously, Apple will value each mobile model delivered according to its characteristics and once the final amount is set, the user will be given a gift card for that value.

This program to hoard users of the competition will begin to work in the next weeks. Meanwhile, employees will begin a training program thanks to which they will learn the protocol to follow to transfer contacts from old terminal to iPhone newly acquired. The copy of the rest of the data will be the responsibility of the client.

I think these types of programs are quite good but in most cases, they don't pay off. It is like the renewal program that exists today and thanks to which, they keep the old model of the iPhone in exchange for buying a superior one.

Anyone who decides to sell a second-hand iPhone will get more money than what Apple is going to offer in its stores. It is clear that the option proposed by those from Cupertino is more comfortable but many times it does not compensate since, for example, For a 5GB iPhone 16s in perfect condition they give us 201 euros. 

Even so, the option is there for those who are interested and if with this program Apple achieves its purpose, then they will not have turned out so badly.
