Apple will return from in-cell panels to Glass to Glass in 2016

At the gates of the new keynote Rumors of all kinds come back to us, however when the source is a medium like DigiTimes the thing is already looked at more openly, with the intention of trying to believe it.

And it is that this time from said medium it is communicated that Apple plans to go back in a technology to which it took the step a few years ago, we are talking about In-Cell screens. Apple is supposedly planning to go back to Glass To Glass displays or On-Cell as before (with improvements of course).

And it seems that in-cell panels are giving Apple and Mr. Cook headaches by having less precision at the edges of the screen and by not allowing a considerable increase in resolution.

As reported, the return to On-Cell panels will allow Apple to create an iPhone with Edge to Edge screen (from corner to corner) and increase the resolution of this until 4K UHD, Despite this, do not get your hopes up, since this rumor speaks of its use for 2016, that is, forget about seeing On-Cell panels in the next iPhone "6s", it seems Apple would still be in negotiations to determine if this process continues ahead.

In principle, Apple went with the iPhone 5 to in-cell technology because this one required less space and it could produce thinner devices, we do not know how Apple is going to face that dilemma again, perhaps the technology they are looking for has already advanced enough so that this is not an inconvenience.

This adds to the rumor that Apple was going to create a 5-inch iPhone with FullHD resolution (If we can use the Edge to Edge format, we should not increase the size of the iPhone much) and the use of AMOLED technology for its next screens.

What is clear is that Apple has something on its hands, and perhaps it wants to catch up with the competition in terms of screens, since we remember that one day, with its retina screen, they led this movement towards larger smartphone screens quality that has brought us to where we are today.

The screens that Apple mounts with respect to those of the competition is a trick!
It is time to jump from the retina and put amoled, more battery life, more vivid colors and sharper blacks ... and by the way it does not burn so much, because my iPhone 5 a year and something left stains on the sides and it was that deterioration in a very short time !!

The resolution of screens that Apple mounts is perfect, it is absurd to put resolutions of 500 to 800ppi that the competition mounts with 2k and 4k resolutions.

They also said that the perfect size was 3,5 "and look where you ended up copying the competition with a brick called iPhone 6 Plus, because you have to be bad to make a mobile with those frames.
Apple has no choice but to continue copying the competition, more screen resolution, more mega pixels in the camera, more battery life, more RAM ... and now they are thinking about 4K and in the not too distant future, screens Super Amoled.

hahaha that is, to put more pixels in the camera, more battery life, more RAM ... is it copying the competition ??? hahahahaha but where did you come from flat?

@Jesus: That's how absurd Jobs was claiming that any smartphone over 3.5 inches would be a failure, and now the trend is large format smartphones and phablets.

The same is now the case with Sony and its premium Z5 at 4K and 800 ppi (or Panasonic and its borderless smartphones) will end up being a trend.

@Javier: The bad thing is to idiot your market (or at least a large part) by criticizing the competition, and the worst thing is to follow what you criticized so much, to top it off, making your market even more idiotic by making it believe that it is already "innovative" an even higher price.
