At CES 2014, the Withings brand, specialized in sanitary applications of smartphones, has presented Aura.

Aura consists of an ambient light device, a sleep sensor, and an app. All designed for control and improve the sleeping experience.

El sleep sensor, which resembles a small mat, slides under the mattress and works in sync with the bedside device. Both units record personal sleep patterns, the sensor takes care of body movements, breathing cycles and heart rate.

El bedside device takes care of the environment, monitoring noise pollution, ambient temperature and light level.

In addition to recording information, the headend device is capable of offering light and sound (using scientifically proven programs) using multi-colored LEDs capable of regulating melatonin, and sound programs are capable of replicating the frequency and pattern of the circadian rhythm to stimulate users to wake up or relax.

This device also has other interesting functionalities such as its programmable alarm clock.

The iPhone application allows users to view and compare their ciclos of sleep each night, perform the pursuit of the triggers that cause us lack of sleep, and also allows the user to program their own sleep programs.

The Aura Withings sleep system will be available from spring from 2014 by 299 dollars.
