Bebop Drone, the new Parrot quadcopter

Parrot today unveiled its new quadcopter, the Bebop Drone, which provides an important collection of improvements over the well-known ARDrone 2.0 that is currently on sale. The Parrot Bebop Drone quadcopter is a more professional bet and we appreciate that in the design and hardware that the company has used for its new "toy."

Its main camera is equipped with a sensor 14 megapixels and a fisheye lens that provides 180º vision, perfect for recording everything that happens around you with a resolution of 1920 x 1080p, that is, Full HD. As with the current AR Drone 2.0, the quadcopter will broadcast in real time everything that its camera captures so that we can see it from the device that acts as a remote control, in our case, the iPhone or iPad. Optionally we can acquire a control compatible with FPV goggles.

To improve the range and strength of the Wi-Fi signal, the new Parrot Bebop Drone uses 802.11ac MIMO Wi-Fi connectivity with four antennas that are capable of working in the 2,4 Ghz and 5 Ghz bands. This Wi-Fi connection can also be used to transfer recorded photos and videos wirelessly to our device, although if we prefer, we can also use the microUSB connection.

The control of the quadcopter also appears to have been improved thanks to new algorithms in your software and the sensors that are responsible for maintaining the stability of the device as well as minimizing unwanted movements caused by turbulence.

To finish, Parrot has indicated that the Bebop Drone is equipped with a dual-core processor (Parrot P7), 8 GB of internal memory and a 1200 mAh battery that will give us a concise 12 minute flight time.

If you liked it and want to get a Parrot Bebop Drone, you should know that the last quarter of the year for a price that has not been confirmed.

It's fine but… 1.200 mAh battery? That doesn't even bring a low-end smartphone ... I guess it's because of the final weight, but the autonomies of these devices make you laugh ... a 3.000 mAh battery and a solar panel on top and then yes!

Well, you can always look for problems but I have caught it because I was after something more professional and for the price the truth is that it is milk: I have reserved it in Juguetronica in the online store http://www.juguetronica.com/drones/bebop-drone.html
