Beddit stops syncing data through iCloud

In May of last year, Apple's purchase of Beddit announced. Beddit is a company dedicated to the development of hardware and software to monitor sleep. In addition, thanks to the Beddit Sleep Monitor application, we could know at all times what our sleep habits were on both the iPhone and the Apple Watch.

The Beddit sensor to monitor sleep is priced at 149,95 euros in the Apple Store and allows us to monitor our sleep by placing it under the pillow, just below where we place our head. As the months have passed, we have seen how the number of services that Beddite initially offered has reduced considerably. The last one has just been announced by Apple and it is very bad news for users.

With the release of the new update to the Beddit app, it is no longer possible to sync sleep monitoring data via iCloud, a feature that is undoubtedly you will not be amused to all those users who once trusted this company and after being acquired by Apple it has gone from bad to worse.

As Apple announced last September, the function Beddit Cloud is no longer available, a feature that allowed them to upload their sleep monitoring data to the cloud and have it stored as a backup. As it is integrated into the Apple Health platform, from this moment on, the data will be stored in iCloud but within the Health application, not independently as up to now and in summary form, not detailed as the application offers us. .

If so far, the average score of the application was only 2,5 stars out of 5 possible, with this update in which one of the most interesting functions it has is eliminated, in addition to sleep monitoring, most likely the thing is tops the ranking of worst iOS apps available on the App Store.

I do not see the drama if there is still a backup of the data that is created, either by Health or by the app itself.
