Belkin joins the list of manufacturers that make and sell a battery case for iPhone 5. While Mophie accounts for much of this market with its many options, the new Grip Battery Case promises to carve a niche in the market.
This accessory stands out for offering a internal battery with 2000 mAh capacity to double the autonomy of the Apple terminal. Installing the iPhone inside this case is quite simple. The side frame of the case is separated from the main body and thus we have enough space to connect the iPhone 5 to the Lightning port at the bottom. Later we replace the bumper and voila, we already have extra protection and autonomy in equal measure.
For the battery to start recharging the iPhone 5 we just have to press the power button for a long time. If we want to check the battery status of the case using the LED system, you will have to short press that same button. When it runs out, we can recharge the iPhone and the battery of the case through the cmicroUSB connector that is on one of its sides.
The Belkin Grip Power Battery Case for iPhone 5 will be available at four different color combinations and it costs $ 100, a price that will take away the desire to buy this accessory to more than one.
