On our walk through the second day of Macworld in San Francisco, the accessory that most caught our attention, without a doubt, has been Bowblade: a bow without arrows, but with an iPhone.

The inventor of this peculiar accessory, Canadian Ron Green, told us that he is a professional bow shooter and that he came up with the idea of developing a special bow with which we could play our favorite titles in the first person. After producing several prototypes, he is finally preparing to launch a unique final product, dubbed the Bowblade, which will go on sale in April this year.

Using Bowblade is how to do professional archery: we need to adapt the appropriate pose to hit the target marked on the screens of our iPhones. And it is that in the center of the arch we find a support for the iPhone and a kind of trigger that presses the screen every time we shoot.

There are already more than 36 first person games compatible with this peculiar invention that makes you immerse yourself in action and shooting titles, but also bet on children's stories. For example, in one of the games we have to move the bow to find turkeys and throw snowballs at them. In a different title, we put ourselves in the shoes of a sniper whose mission is to get rid of the rivals spread over different scenarios.

Bowblade will not only be compatible with iPhone, but it can also be used with Android phones. It's an entertaining experience that anyone who can afford it has to try.

The price of Bowblade will be $ 185. In a few days we will publish a Macworld compilation video in which we show you how Bowblade works and test it on camera. Stay tuned for Actualidad iPhone.
