Bozona Saint John plans to leave Apple soon

If you regularly follow Apple's keynotes, you may be familiar with the name of Bozona Saint John, the marketing manager for Apple Music and iTunes, an executive who appears to be planning to leave the company soon, as published by the medium Axios. According to Axios, who has tried to contact Apple to confirm the rumors without success, he claims that this information comes from sources related to Apple Music and that they are in daily contact with Bozoma. The expected date for his departure from Apple has not been published, only that it will be soon.

Bozona Saint John came to Apple after the purchase of Beats in 2014 and currently holds the position of Marketing Manager for Apple Music and iTunes. Bozoma began to gain relevance in the company with the announcement of Apple Music at the 2015 World Developers Conference, in which the application and all the services that Apple offered us were officially presented with this new streaming music service with which hit the market to compete with Spotify. Since that date, Bozoma has been taking a greater role both inside and outside the company where various media have noticed her.

This past October, Bozoma starred in an announcement along with Vice President of Internet, Software and Services Eddy Cue, Jimmy Lovine and James Corden in which the latter offered different ideas for advertising Apple Music. Fortune magazine included her in the list of the most powerful women of the next generation. For its part, Billboard included her in the list of the 100 most powerful women in the industry a couple of months ago. If Bozoma's departure is finally confirmed, Apple would reduce the number of senior executives, where they are currently Angela Ahrendts, Lisa Jackson and Denise Young Smith.
