Before the advent of the graphical interface that came with Windows, the user interface on PCs was based on DOS commands. Everything was done manually by typing commands. When an application allowed various functions to be performed, developers created a menu-driven user interface that grouped all functions in a single view.
This type of interface was used mainly by antivirus and file managers, which they allowed us to quickly navigate through all the system directories without having to run the CD «directory name» commands to access it.
The graphical interface has improved considerably over the years and currently it has nothing to do with those years. But if you lived through that time and want to remember that interface, you can currently do it through the AppStorio website, which offers us all the content of the Apple application store.
This website, in addition to offering us this retro view, shows us the price of the apps and the year they arrived in the app store from Apple. It also offers us the possibility of searching through the different categories available in the App Store. The only function that is not available at the moment is to search through the web or alphabetically, but over time you should add these functions.
By clicking on each application, the web offers us an image of it, together with the description of the application and a link to it to automatically open the App Store and we can download it. One more option to search the Apple application store in a completely different way than what we are currently used to.
