Hyper, manufacturer of accessories for our iOS devices, is one of the companies that has been seen this week on the showfloor of the Las Vegas Consumer Electronics Show. Among all its products, the one that has caught our attention the most has been Hyper Drive CameraMator: an accessory that communicates our professional cameras with the iPhone, iPod Touch or iPad.
CameraMator converts to mobile phones in remote controls who can access advanced features of our DSLR cameras. It also acts as a wireless viewer so that we can check and share our photos beyond the mini screen that our reflex camera has.
The device shown at the fair has been designed by the company Wooblue Inc, which has made use of Hyper technology, dubbed iUSBport, to connect DSLR cameras with mobile devices through Wifi connectivity.
CameraMator has a small 132 x 32 pixel mono LCD screen, a USB port and the possibility of Wi-Fi connection. It comes with a 4GB internal memory and is compatible with devices Android and iOS, but also with PCs and Macs. Its battery is 3000 mAh, which gives us a performance of about eight hours.
We are facing an accessory that gives us more play when it comes to power interact with our cameras and iOS devices. The photos you take with CameraMator will appear directly on the screen of your iPhone, iPod or iPad thanks to Wi-Fi connectivity. To be able to enjoy all these functions, you just need to get hold of the device (which costs about $ 300) and download the applications free available on the App Store. Of course, we have to highlight that while CameraMator is a great device, from what we have been able to test at CES, the applications are far behind by presenting a very basic interface and design.

MMM interesting!!!
Does this unit have live camera live view mode? Or just send the photos as an Eye-fi Pro2?…. because if you don't do anything else ?, the card is cheaper. and it does not occupy the flash shoe. The web is very poor in information. It does not make anything clear what it does or does not do. They have work to do it seems….
do you need to have wireless internet to connect with each other ???
