CarPlay will be integrated into Mercedes vehicles

The CarPlay theme is worse than giving birth to a donkey. If i don't remember it's going to be bad for three years a year and a half ago that Apple introduced this technology to connect our iPhone to the car and to be able to control the entire device through voice commands thanks to Siri.

Since then very few are the vehicles that today already offer us this possibility, Taking into account that it is only Ferrari that does it, within the reach of very few, we could say that no affordable brand is offering it  Among which we find the brands of the Volkswagen group (Seat, Audi, VW and Skoda) mainly and Ferrari.

The latest manufacturer to announce plans to integrate this technology into its vehicles is the German manufacturer Mercedes, which in a statement has offered this information that we could classify as good and bad news. CarPlay will be available in all vehicles in the house that leave the factory with the Navigator extra and will have no additional cost, except for the very expensive price of this accessory.

But if we buy a vehicle without the navigator but we want to enjoy CarPlay, the only option available from the factory is to add this extra or change the stereo in our vehicle by some of the existing models on the market and that are more than compatible with this Apple technology.

Although in the latest updates Apple already allows us to connect our vehicle via Bluetooth to enjoy CarPlay, users who want to use the cable option (which was previously mandatory) will be able to do so without problems but only They will be able to connect their device to the specific USB that the firm will include in their vehicles.. And I say specific because the models with this browser offer us two USB ports for different uses. The USB connection for CarPlay will carry the drawing of a smartphone in order to differentiate it from the other more generic and for other uses.
