The famous company THQ, videogame developer for mobile platforms, has recently launched a game that has surprised us with its pleasant graphics and entertaining. Is named chop sushi and it is a puzzle game in the style of jeweled o iZoo.
chop sushi is a game in which despite having different game modes, our objective will be to match, in groups of 3 or more, the same sushi taquitos to make them disappear.
Unlike the rest of games of this style, chop sushi it has a back story. We put ourselves in the shoes of a sushi chef (or rather a kind of fish / whale), and our job will be to help solve the problems that exist in the world, in general. Although the latter doesn't make a lot of sense, it adds a funny touch to the game.
To solve these problems we will have to overcome the different levels of the game. The conclusion we draw through this is that as we solve the game screens we will make the world happier. A strange idea, but original.
Another difference that exists between chop sushi and the rest of the games of his style is that to move the pieces of the puzzle we will not simply exchange them, but we will move them to the end of the row where they are thanks to some easy-to-handle chopsticks. This is equivalent to moving all the pieces one position in the row.
There are also several special moves in the game. An example is lining up three pieces of wasabi (the green drops that you can see in the images). If we make this move, we will subtract points from our opponent.
It is not worth explaining all the possible movements that we can make (it would also remove emition from the game if we gutted them all). The first time we start the game they will explain the basic movements (those already explained here), and as we progress through the game we will learn new movements (or recipes, as they are called in the game).
From a subjective point of view, the game seemed a bit complicated to me at first, but once you've played for a while, you quickly get used to the style of play.
In conclusion, comment that in chop sushi the graphics are fun and easy on the eyes. The background music has been created to reflect a very Japanese atmosphere.
You have the game available in the AppStore at a price of € 2,35.
The game is now available for free!
