Chrome for iOS is much faster

The browser of the firm Google has gradually become the most used browser in the world, at least in its version for desktop. So far Chrome was not as stable as it should be as it does not use Apple's rendering engine, as is the case with the new Firefox browser for iOS, which hit the market just a few weeks ago, and which is particularly giving me a lot of problems. crashes, especially when I use it on the iPad with the Split View function.

Google has just released a new update for its browser in its version for iOS, with a very important novelty in the rendering engine used. With this Chrome update uses Apple's WKWebView rendering engine, so that from this update the browser is much more stable and faster than in its previous version, number 47. According to the tests carried out by Google, now the browser is 70% more reliable and offers us fewer problems than in the previous version.

In this version, number 48, Chrome has added new icons on the New Tab page to be able to access in a much faster way to the websites that we visit more frequently, something that was already available in the Firefox browser since it arrived at the App Store and that speeds up navigation through our favorite pages.

But also, taking advantage of the novelties of iOS 9, Chrome integrates with the iOS Spotlight search engine, so that through the native iOS search engine we can perform a search among our bookmarks to access more quickly without having to enter the application and browser through them.
