Classicbot offers us two gems for any Apple fan

If we had to choose two representative Apple products, from its innermost essence, surely many would include the original Macintosh and the iMac G3. Not only because of what they meant to Apple itself, but because of what they meant to the PC industry itself. That is why Classicbot has wanted to honor them with two small figures that they fall in love with at first sight: Classicbot Classic and iBot G3.

Macintosh and iMac G3

It is no coincidence that Classicbot has chosen these two personal computers for its little toys. The Macintosh is what many consider the first personal computer in history, although it is not completely true. This small all-in-one (from 1984) was for many users and small businesses the first computer that entered their home or business. With its floppy drive, a window-based graphical interface and a mouse to operate it, it was the great bet of the company and Steve Jobs to bring personal computers to homes, and they succeeded.

The Classicbot figure recreate in great detail this Apple Macintosh, with its characteristic color and shape, its handle on the top, the front floppy drive and the rear connections, and even the small mouse that was used to move around the computer screen. It also includes a "fountain" briefcase, and we only miss the keyboard. The arms of the figure are separated, and thanks to the fact that they are held by magnets there is no type of hole on the sides of the computer, so if we also remove the legs we can "dehumanize" the figure and place it as if it were a simple macintosh on your desk.

The other personal computer chosen by Classicbot is the original iMac, later known as iMac G3. It is one of the best-known technological products of Apple's modern era, and it was the first to be launched after the return of Steve Jobs to the company, at a critical time for it, assuming the beginning of what Apple is today . Initially launched in that characteristic greenish-blue color, it later had more colors available, but always with the same characteristic: a transparent casing that allowed you to see its interior.

It was a much more advanced computer than the original Macintosh, with a more complex design, and This is perfectly reflected in the little Classicbot iBot G3, which takes care of even the smallest detail, with the transparencies of the case, the carrying handle, the keyboard and mouse, and even the side cover that hid the USB connections of this first iMac. Like the other model, arms and feet are removed to place it as a small replica of the computer. This model is available in two colors: Bondi Blue and Tangerine Orange.
