Every time a new jailbreak is released, developers gradually begin to adapt their applications to be compatible with the current jailbreak-compatible version of iOS. But in addition new developers, in addition to the usual ones of all life, launch new tweaks, with functions that until now we had not seen, either because the jailbreak was not compatible or because try to take advantage of new iOS features that were not found in older versions of jailbreak. Today we are talking about Cuttlefish, a new tweak that shows us the menus of the applications compatible with the 3D Touch function, with the color of the application icon, as we can in the image that heads this article.
Thanks to Cuttlefish, every time we call the submenu available in applications compatible with 3D Touch technology, we can see how both the background and the menu color are displayed in the same color as the icon border. In the example that heads this article, we can see how the iBooks application shows us an orange background, the News application a red background, while the App Store application shows us the entire background of the screen in the same blue color of the application.
Apple could take note, if it hasn't already done so, of this tweak to implement it in future versions of iOS. Cuttlefish is available for free via the alternative Cydia app store. But if you don't have an iPhone 6s or higher but you use the Forcy or RevealMenu tweaks, you can also make use of Cuttlefish to customize the background of the menus when the 3D Touch function is invoked. Cuttlefish is compatible with both iOS 9 and iOS 10.
