Darkroom reaches version 4.0 and is now compatible with the iPad

When editing our photos with our iPhone or iPad, in the App Store we have at our disposal a large number of applications. Each user once gets used to using an application it is very difficult for me to change, and as long as you do not find an application that offers you more options and possibilities.

If you still do not have a header application to edit your photos from the iPhone and iPad, you still have time to know one of the best applications available today in the App Store. I'm talking about Darkroom, an application that until now was only available for the iPhone, but has finally given way to the iPad.

Editing the photographs on a larger screen not only allows us to have a wider field of view, but also allows us to take advantage of the user interface, as long as it is adapted to the device and is not an adaptation of the iPhone version . Darkroom has just been updated reaching version 4.0 and incidentally offering the expected compatibility with the iPad. The iPad version offers us the simplicity, efficiency and power we need to be able to make the most of our device.

The app now supports Portrait, Portrait, and Landscape orientations on iOS devices, and has been optimized to choose the best design for each device and each size for a consistent editing experience. On devices where Darkroom is used in landscape orientation, albums are available on the top level of the library alongside photos for faster access to albums.

Along with iPad compatibility, the update also adds a color histogram to visualize the colors present in an image and how the sliders interact with those colors. Other enhancements include value labels on sliders, adjustments to filter intensity settings, right-to-left language support, and undo and redo gestures.
