Delta, the next emulator from the creator of GBA4iOS, enters beta

Web that advances the Delta emulator

November 23 we talk to you de Delta, the next emulator from the creator of GBA4iOS which, as far as we can guess at their website, it will be compatible with the classic Super Nintendo, Nintendo 64, Game Boy Advance and Game Boy Color consoles. Until now we knew that your first beta would arrive this December and it seems that that moment has already arrived, or at least already we can fill in a small questionnaire to subscribe to test this emulator which will be officially launched in 2017.

Riley Testut, the developer of Delta, will allow us to test the betas of its next emulator in two ways: one will be the beta that we could label "normal". The another beta will be something more special and the one that will receive more updates, which at first means that it will be more unstable, but also that it will fix bugs sooner than the normal beta. It is to this beta for the press that we can access by filling in the questionnaire available at THIS LINK. In the questionnaire we will answer questions ranging from the device we have to why we would like to try this beta of the emulator. We will be able to request the "Press" version until 23:59 p.m. on Friday, December 16.

Delta emulator will be officially released already in 2017

What surprises me a bit about the requirements to test the Press version of Delta betas is that among them is have an Apple ID to use the versions delivered via TestFlight. TestFlight is an Apple application from which we can install trial versions of any application whose betas we have subscribed to, something that I am doing right now with the ViewRanger app that we saw in the keynote in which the Apple Watch Series 2 was presented. This installation route is surprising because we are talking about an emulator, I am very wrong or we will have to install it by other means. The other requirement that the developer asks is that we have installed iOS 10 or later.

At the moment there are many doubts, but one thing is clear: soon we will have a much more versatile emulator available than GBA4iOS. Do you want to try it?
