On June 10, Apple debuted a new advertising campaign during its opening conference of the World Developers Conference. The campaign was accompanied by a new slogan: «Designed by Apple in California«. This is the path that the company has decided to take for the next few months, as we can see these days in North American magazines, in which Apple has placed several full-page advertising pieces with its new slogan.
This is what we can read in part of the new Apple campaign In which we see a snapshot of a person exercising with the iPod Touch tucked into an arm sleeve:
«We are engineers and artists.
Craftsmen and inventors.
We sign our work.
You will rarely see it.
But you always feel it.
This is our signature.
And it means everything.
Designed by Apple in California.
What is the hidden message of this new slogan? The first thing is that Apple highlights how everyone its products are designed in the United States, a way to confront the critical voices who frown upon the fact that the production of one of the richest companies on the planet takes place in China. With this announcement, Apple reminds us that all its products are born in California and that it already has manufacturing plants in North America.
Moreover, the ad is a clear attack on your competitor Samsung's design copies. Both companies have been involved in lawsuits for years and things seem to have no end.

Apple products are still made in "CHINA" ...
Something I think is wrong if they start a world war with Iran, China and Russia.
Apple would be financing China, without thinking about how many billions that Apple has paid them for the manufacture of their products!

The slogan does not fool anyone, everyone knows that Apple products are designed in the US but also that they are made in China. This is clearly detrimental to Apple's image and hence the new slogan but, as I say, they are not fooling anyone.
Eye! I am not saying that the products are of poor quality, not in vain I have two iPhone and an iPad, but I find this attempt at Americanism a bit ridiculous when everyone knows that the core, that is, the manufacture of their products is they order it from cheap labor.
I think you did not see the friend event where they show that the macbook air is already assembled in the usa and soon all the other products
