What sets the HomePod apart from its rivals? Tim Cook explains

We continue to bingo with the HomePod, the smart speaker of the Cupertino company continues to grab headlines around the world, and it is not for less crazy days before its launch and taking into account its capabilities in an innovative product within the Apple range.

However, there are few who have serious doubts about its operation and those characteristics that supposedly make it so different from what other brands offer. The question here is ... What differentiates the HomePod from its rivals? Tim Cook comes to the fore to convince us.

According to Tim Cook, the competition makes Apple undoubtedly stronger, it is logical, to think that in such a saturated market it is important to offer something "different" if you want to attract as many potential buyers as possible, especially if we want to please a small number of forgotten users. This is how Tim Cook has offered an interview to the Financial Post in Canada, where he explained the following:

I think there are a good number of users who have been forgotten in these products, those who are looking for superior audio quality. For them it's the HomePod, we don't think the audio experience should be at odds with the smart capabilities.

In case anyone still had any doubts, Apple is offering with the HomePod, above all, a speaker. An audio system of supposed quality (we still have a lot to contrast) that will satisfy mainly music lovers. In other words, that the loudspeaker is "smart" is probably secondary, or at least the least that can be expected from a product from the Cupertino company. Ultimately, the doubts about the usefulness and intent of the HomePod have been fully satisfied. It is mainly a speaker that will help us with simple tasks thanks to Siri, but not a virtual assistant for your home.
