We tested two new accessories for use with Apple AirTags. A goggle strap and keychain that hold the Apple locator never to lose them again.
A cord for your glasses
If we think about which objects we lose most often, surely most of us would agree on sunglasses. Well, this comes to an end thanks to this new Nomad cord that In addition to allowing you to hang them around your neck, something that is now very fashionable, it also allows you to place an AirTagSo you will receive a notification (with iOS 15) every time you move away from the glasses, and if you end up losing them, you can find them through the Search application.
It is a cord for glasses with a conventional look, with several different size hooks to adapt to any size of glasses temples. But it has the peculiarity of including a small plastic disc that serves to adjust the length of the lanyard and also to house an AirTag. As Nomad points out on their website, the lanyard is waterproof, but the AirTag is not, so you shouldn't get it wet because your Apple locator may get damaged.
A leather keychain
The other accessory we are testing today is a leather keychain. With the same idea as the other Nomad model we already tested (link), this keychain will locate your keys wherever you leave them, and from iOS 15 it will also notify you whenever you move away from it to avoid losing it. Made of Horween leather, like all Nomad accessories, its design and finishes are excellent, and it looks very elegant as a keychain. Also, as it hides the AirTag, it will be difficult for them to identify that you have a locator on you.
Nomad It has two models, brown and black, both with the metal ring in black. There are no clasps or adhesives on this keychain, the AirTag is easily inserted through a small opening in the keychain, and remains inside the small bag that is achieved on the skin by thermal molding. By size and weight you will not notice any difference with any conventional keychain that you can use regularly.
