Practically every day some social network is born in the world, but the reality is that the vast majority fall into oblivion after a few months, in the best of cases. With DriveTribe I have wanted to be patient and give it a few months before telling you about it, but now I think it is time to bring this to the fore. perfect social network for those of us who are passionate about the motor world, and especially about cars. Of course, and I already warn you, entirely in English.
Godparents
Nowadays it is much easier to get a project ahead if you have adequate public support, and the case of DriveTribe is especially exemplary of this. Flagged by the motor journalist most famous in the world (Jeremy Clarkson) and supported by his two faithful friends (James May and Richard Hammond), DriveTribe had the necessary impulse to penetrate deep into a community that does not hesitate to go where Jezza is going, being good proof of this the fantastic repercussion of The Grand Tour and the reasonable failure of the new Top Gear.
But what the heck is DriveTribe? They define it as "the social network for motor racing lovers", and it is still the perfect definition of it, but it deserves that we go a little further. It is made up of different 'tribes' to which we can subscribe and in which we can publish, always according to our tastes. There are classic cars, supercars or incredible roads, to give three simple examples.
La app
Today you cannot be successful without a proper application, and we can say that DriveTribe has it. With a design in which black and white predominate, the app works with excellent speed and facilitates the management of the social network even more than the website itself on the computer.
I especially like the sections of the bottom menu, since they allow us to see exactly what we want. It offers us a read-only part, a video part, the management of the 'tribes' and a record of the alerts received. It is a faster system than in other networks and it saves time searching for the content we want to consume. Of course, we can contribute to the tribes with our content, as it is the basic concept of a social network.
It is clear therefore that we are facing a very specific environment and with no room for people who do not like the engine, but the 'petrolheads' now have a place to be informed and entertained, while being mentored by the loved and hated Jeremy Clarkson. And by the way, you can improve your English, right?
