Employees prefer iOS and Mac over Windows and Android

The war of operating systems does not generally arise in the business environment, where with few occasions, Windows and Android they own the iron throne. The thing changes when you ask the users of those products, the employees.

The result is that according to a recent study, workers prefer to carry out their tasks using a Mac or an iPhone, well ahead of the alternatives offered by Android and Windows, yes, much cheaper.

The survey conducted by JAMF under the title "The impact of the choice of devices on the experience of use of employees", has given results that for many may be unexpected, but that those of us who work simultaneously with Mac and Windows, as well as Android and iOS, are quite clear about it. Working with Mac has its advantages, these advantages have already been commented on on occasion by the IBM team, where they ensure that their employees who use Mac require much less help from the technical support service and are more efficient, saving huge amounts of money on it. But not all that glitters is gold, Mac requires not only awareness on the part of a user excessively accustomed to Windows, but also compatibility.

The result of the survey is that 52% of large companies today - in the United States of America - allow employees to choose what type of computer they want to use. Of these, 72% said they prefer Mac over Windows, an overwhelming percentage. Something similar happened with the choice of mobile phone, of the 50% of the companies that allowed them to choose it, 75% were clear that they opted for Android or Apple. Meanwhile, only 25% of PC users chose the option to build their own PC devices, the most efficient, personalized and cost-effective of all. We leave you the results in THIS LINK.
