In it we will see all the big updates of the operating systems of the big apple: macOS, tvOS, watchOS and iOS. The rumors and leaks about the new versions are happening week after week, and many coincide.
In the case of iOS 13 the majority of leaks and concepts augur the arrival of a dark mode, a makeover of Find My iPhone, new features in iMessages, and improvements to the Sleep Clock feature. We take a look at everything we know about iOS 13 to date after the jump.
iOS 13 for everyone: dark mode, iPad and future
El iPad will be one of the winners with iOS 13. It is expected that the new version will allow integration mice and keyboards via Bluetooth to work a little more professionally. In addition, it is speculated that Apple would allow you to turn your iPad into additional screens using the new operating system update. On the other hand, it is also expected that those of Cupertino will allow, finally, to be able to work through windows, that is, a real multitasking with several applications open at the same time.
For all devices, there is a high probability that iOS 13 is the operating system in which we will see, after so long, a dark mode. This mode would be activated through Siri, the Control Center quickly or from the device Settings. We can already get an idea of what this mode would be like since dozens of concepts have exposed it in different ways, so the result will be very similar to what we have seen in recent months.
Beyond design, Apple aims unify Where are my friends and Find my iPhone, so that they eliminate a native app to unify it in a single one. It makes sense to centralize all the location of devices in the same app. We will see how they finally carry the final design of the new app.
At the native application level, iOS 13 aims to be a facelift for Reminders, iMessages, Home and Health, endowing them with a modification of the current design along with a redistribution of the content spaces that are inside. The incorporation of a download manager in Safari, one of the weakest points that this browser had on iOS devices.
The possibility of introducing a new undo gesture by moving three fingers from left to right has also been discussed. Beyond this novelty, a modification of the volume control design that occupies the entire screen is also expected in iOS 12. This is a nod to the number of tweaks that allowed to modify this when the Jailbreak was in full swing.
