Expand Space to Install More Applications

When we just start we want to install all the applications that we can to the iPhone / iPod Touch.

But what we do not know is that we are limited to install applications, this is because we have two partitions in the memory of our device, one of them has the capacity of 300mb of space, which is the one intended for applications and the other partition will depend on the capacity of the device is reserved for multimedia and others.

By filling the space that we have available in the small partition, we will no longer be able to install more and even the installer will become unstable, and since after the jailbreak we have around 26mb free to install the apps, it is very easy to fill that space, don't you think?

One of the ways to free up space is with the Application bosstool which we can obtain by adding to the installer the repository http://repository.apptapp.com/, usually this repo is already installed after doing the Jailbreak but if they do not have it add it, or install the repo: markmon.mine. nu: 90 / iPhone / repo / repo.plist install it and then run Bosstool.

you will see something like this:

you play in Free Disc Space and you will see something like this:

Only that the image shows the process already done but where it says Relocate within the app, x ex. Relocate fonts, Relocate Ringtones, Relocate Apps means that you can move things to the large partition to free up space in the small partition, touch one of the options and you will see a wheel spinning and when finished it will tell you: Already Moved like this in the image , touch last to move the apps as recommended by the creators of Bosstool, with this process you will leave more space to install applications and thus prevent installer from collapsing and you can no longer install more.

Hello friends. When they install some type of App and have problems starting the iPhone or Ipod Touch, what should they do to keep the two buttons pressed, both On / Off and the bar button, that is, the round one that is at the bottom of the device. So we can turn it off in the event that it remains in an endless search for command, after it turns off we release them, let's press them together until it starts and after that it will activate a kind of failsafe and restart the system without problems, later the Itune will restore it and case resolved. They do this until they see that it restarts well because it does not always come out on the first try. It happened to me and that's why I post it here

Well, the same thing happened to me, so I had to restore it and start all over again ………… ..Question
Is it because we don't do something right with BossTools or is this application not working in 1.1.4 ???
Is there another simple way to expand memory ???

The program does not work yet with 3.0 when the compatible version will be released… I upgraded my iphone from 2.1 to 30 and did the jailbreack but when trying to install the bosstool it tells me that it is not compatible with 3.0…. Does anyone know how to solve this or do I have no other option but to wait for the version compatible with 3.0 to come out ????
