Facebook expands to the labor framework allowing to offer jobs

We cannot deny that Facebook is hard at work in recent months. If a few days ago they included a service to know the weather in our city, yesterday they introduced the stories (in the style of Snapchat and Instagram Stories) in their applications, both for iOS and Android.

Marck Zuckerberg's company has gone one step further and will allow companies to United States and Canada, offer jobs so that all applicants can submit their resume, speak through Facebook Messenger, and arrange a more personal interview through the platform enabled for it. If the system works correctly, perhaps within a few years, companies in Spain will contact their job applicants via Facebook.

Marck Zuckerberg thinks Facebook should be in the job market

We've tried the new job experience in some parts of the US, and while it's still early days, companies are already stocking up on resumes. "It was great because it was easy," says Wendy Grahn. “It took three minutes to fill in the information and put it there. So someone saw the message, we talked, and it was done.

The tool would be available in a section called Job. The different jobs would reach the news feed of each user. This individualization means that in relation to what studies one has, what pages to follow or where a person has studied, possible jobs that could be interesting will be assigned to them.

Once the chosen job position has been selected, each company will be able to request that a series of data be filled in, many of them can be stored in the Facebook profile so as not to have to write them each time a different request is sent. Entrepreneurs will receive all applications and will be able to calmly review each applicant, talk to them through Facebook Messenger and, if all goes well (as Facebook expects), meet in person for a more formal interviewl.

Finally, the job search system will be available both in the web version and in the application (iOS and Android), a facility for those who are constantly traveling and want to send a request, which may have a "shipping expiration date", and do not have a computer on top.

At the moment this tool will only be available in the United States and Canada, as a pilot tool. There are really many platforms of this type but perhaps none of the size like Facebook, which is becoming a technological giant that cannot be done without.
