Better late than never, most applications are adapting with the update to the fast response of iOS, it is clear that we do not know why they have opted now with the arrival of iOS 9 when this option is available from iOS 8, without Yet here they are, and one of the latest to join is Facebook Messenger. But the update does not stop here, They have also added support for the Apple Watch. As you already know, this possibility of quick response from notifications is extremely useful for all instant messaging applications, curiously those that go "to the queue" have been the first to add this possibility, either Telegram or Facebook Messenger, however , we are still waiting for WhatsApp to do the same.

Both social networks and messaging applications are very given to notifications, and the possibility of responding quickly has already been added on Twitter, which was one of the first to avail itself of this possibility. Facebook has followed the example of these applications, launching today its update for Facebook Messenger that will allow us to respond from the notification itself, so that we do not waste a moment of our life responding to that message in question, and above all it seems useful to save battery, not only time, since we will no longer have to access the application.

However, for some unknown reason, Facebook did not decide to include in the list of changes after the update the fact that it was now compatible with the quick response, so we had to check it out for ourselves. As you already know, a quick response in notification can be given both on the lock screen and on the Springboard or any other application that we are running, undoubtedly one of the most interesting improvements along with the "return to ..." also introduced in iOS 9.

The quick response from notifications was only available in iOS 8 for Apple's own applications, with iOS 9 they opened the system for the others.

Although in the presentation of iOS 8 if I remember correctly, they did the demonstration of interactive notifications with Facebook, to like or comment on a photo and that version never arrived

And since the quick response that does not appear to me is activated, it sends me to the application

How do I activate it? I do not get to respond from the notification and already update!

If, as it is activated, I cannot write, I only get the options to mute or send a thumb up emoticon

Elisralau could you change that option? Also on iphone 6s I get those two options mute and the hand emoticon in the quick response ... And nobody tells you how to change that
