Today is the world day of the emoji, those emoticons that accompany us every day in each and every one of the applications that we visit daily. Emoji allow us to communicate in a non-verbal way, helping other types of content such as videos, text messages or even voice messages. On July 17 it is used by companies and services for launching news related to this type of emoticons in their applications. In the case of Facebook, they have decided to update their messaging service Facebook Messenger introducing the Soundmoji, emoticons to which a sound is integrated to give more grace to our conversations.

Introducing the latest Messenger expression tool: Soundmojis. Your chats have gotten a lot louder, just in time for World Emoji Day on July 17!

Taking advantage of the occasion, Facebook Messenger has updated offering this new function to all its users. It is about the soundmoji, an additional option to the well-known emojis that haunt our lives. To access them, just access the emoticons menu at the bottom right of the chat and click on the speaker located to the right of the menu.

All emojis to which Facebook has correlated a sound will immediately be displayed. These sounds they can be sound effects, well-known phrases from series or movies or any other sound that the Facebook Messenger team considers that it has a place in a specific emoji.

The number of Soundmojis is currently small with just 27 emojis to send. However, from Messenger they ensure that they will periodically update the amount of them available with the aim of giving vitality to conversations with a function that, they say, is innovative. In fact, they are advocates of the two-way Soundmoji. On the one hand, it maintains the visual essence and, on the other hand, it incorporates a sound:
