Facebook reactions are now official and available to everyone

Today is a day that marks the end of an era: from today, the new Facebook reactions become official and we are no longer limited to using the famous Like or Like. And is that, for many years, the only way to react to a publication has been the Like button. For a long time, users of the famous social network had been asking for what less than a button to show disagreement with something, which would become known as "I don't like it." Facebook has listened to the pleas of these users and has launched several more buttons.

The new reactions will basically be an extension of the Like button that was available until now. Now, in addition to the thumbs-up button, there will also be available the Love, Laughter, Surprise, Sad and angry. The new reactions will be represented by an animated emoji, except for Love which is represented by a heart. Of those that you can see in the image that heads this article, the one that says "Yay" will not be available, at least for the moment, because it confuses users and they do not know well when to use it.

Five Facebook Reactions That Add To The Famous Like

In order to access the new reactions, you must press and hold the reactions button, which is the I like, slide to the one we want to use and release. If a post has several different reactions, we'll look at the three that have been used the most. In the following video you can see how to access the different reactions.

Facebook was investigating which icons were used the most to understand which reactions would be the best. When they managed to reduce the number to 6, the famous social network began to test them. It is for the latter that many users will have already used these new reactions, but it was not until today that they have been made official and are available to all users. In fact, according to Facebook only were tested in a total of seven countries.

Without a doubt, this novelty will be very welcome for many users of the social network. It made no sense for someone to post, for example, the death of a relative and for us to click the Like button. Now if someone publishes something that we do not like, we will surely let them know.

Have you already tried the new reactions? What do you think?

Hello, Yandel. There is a video below the first paragraph after the second headline. It is small, but I see it.

      A greeting.
