Apple just released a support document that would confirm a fourth generation Apple TV and that will allow you to control HomeKit-compatible accessories. In this way, any user with a third-generation Apple TV or higher, together with an iOS device you will be able to control HomeKit compatible devices through voice commands. Apple also specifies a list of HomeKit-compatible devices that are expected to hit the market once HomeKit is available.
