In The Best of iOS we emphasize once again a game for iPhone and iPad that belongs to the puzzle genre. His name is Flow Free and it is being liked a lot in the App Store despite not having state-of-the-art graphics and surprising gameplay, however, it is addictive enough to spend time in those little moments of leisure or to liven up those endless and boring waits.
The idea of Flow Free is simple: we have a board with colored dots that we have to interconnect, joining those that have the same tonality. The union between two points will create a path that cannot be crossed, therefore, to make the rest of the unions we must use the part of the board that is free. If we have completed the level correctly, all the points will be united and the panel will be with all the spaces occupied.
The difficulty of Flow Free lies in getting complete the levels in the fewest possible movesFurthermore, the dimensions of the board may vary and the larger the size, the greater the added difficulty. If we ever make a mistake there is no need to worry, all the movements can be undone but that will penalize us when it comes to getting the highest possible score.
Flow Free offers various game modes. The first one is called 'Free play' and it basically consists of completing levels. In total there are more than 750 and, optionally, packs can be purchased through in-app-purchase to add even more content to the game. The screens at the beginning will not mean any time for us but as we progress, the complexity of the levels will increase and completing them correctly will be a real challenge for us.
The second game mode of Flow Free is 'Time trial'. In this case, it is complete a board in a specified time. The dimensions of the board can range from 5 × 5 to 9 × 9 and the time to finish it can be 30 seconds, one minute, two minutes or four minutes for the most complicated.
We are again in front of a very simple game at a visual level but with a gameplay addictive enough to take it into our app library. In addition, it is a universal and free title that can be enjoyed on the iPhone and iPad, so you can't ask for more.
