Fly, a video editor unlike anything we've seen so far

fly video

It has been seven years since the first iPhone would make an appearance on the market and leave us all speechless, so the ability to surprise with applications is totally normal that it is gradually lost, but luckily there are always developers willing to give everything to innovate and show us new things with which to take advantage of the iPhone, something that happens with Fly.

Not the same

The first thing that catches the attention of Fly is that the application focuses entirely on the gestures for its management, something that at first may be uninteresting because it forces us to memorize different movements, but when it comes out, it speeds up the whole process a lot and becomes really interesting.

But if there is something in which this application stands out from its rivals It is in the possibility of capturing and editing multi-camera video using various iOS devices. Through a WiFi network all devices are connected and can act as independent cameras that record to the same master device, in this case our iPhone that will have to have this function activated through an in-app purchase.

Quality at a price

Fly is a very above average in most respects and has exclusive features, so you pay for it. The application is totally free in the App Store, but when we want to do something decent we have to go to the checkout. For example, to activate multi-camera support and a couple of other things we will have to pay about 10 euros, although it is true that it only has to be on the iPhone that saves the video and it is not necessary in the auxiliary cameras.

In any case, we are not facing an application considered cheap, but the degree of attention to detail and the exclusive features also put it above the average and make it probably worthy of a price a little higher than what we are used to seeing.

In my opinion the application can be great for a very determined audience For example, people who do sports in a group and love to record several takes (skate, BMX ...), but I find it difficult to find practical sense for a standard user at the price determined by the guys at Fly Labs from New York.
