Surely you already know everything that has happened with Samsung's latest star (and crashed) terminal, the Galaxy Note 7. Multimillion-dollar losses for the Korean, terminals that explode, leak-proof boxes for their return and only in road shipments, drop in value Samsung on the stock market ... But even so, there are still many people with the terminal in their hands taking risks.
Added to everything that has happened so far with the Galaxy Note 7, now the United States government has decided prohibit entry to any flight in its territory with a Samsung terminal to avoid taking risks of any kind since if it explodes, it could be fatal.
The FAA (Federal Aviation Administration in Spanish) and other organizations have decided that the Samsun Galaxy Note 7, both in its original form and those that were replaced, will be banned from all flights in the United States from today October 15.
Previously, the FAA had already asked owners of a Note 7 not to charge or use their mobile while they were flying, but with this new rule, Nobody with a Samsung Galaxy Note 7 will be able to enter the plane. Transportation Secretary Anthony Foxx had this to say about it:
We recognize that banning these phones from all airlines can be a major inconvenience for some passengers, but the safety of all those inside the aircraft must take priority over this. We have included this new restriction because any fire incident on a flight is a great risk for personal injury and also puts many lives at risk.
Furthermore, the government has gone one step further to enforce this new restriction as anyone who violates the restriction, it will be a motive for criminal persecution.
Undoubtedly a new hard blow for the Korean company and for its Samsung Galaxy Note 7 which is, without a doubt, one of its biggest disasters.
So people who have a galaxy note, if you are going to travel, better open your nightstand and take out your old Nokia 3310
