GoodReader is completely redesigned in its update to iOS 7

Goodreader

If we look back, one of the updates that impacted me the most in the App Store was the previous Infinity Blade III update that included dozens of new features that made the user experience much more pleasant and we could continue playing with more characters and monsters. Today we are not talking about a game, but about a well-known application called GoodReader which has been updated to version 3.20.0 with many improvements (and when I say many there are more than a dozen) and news that we will comment on after the jump.

Lots of new features in the GoodReader update

As I was saying, GoodReader is a well-known application in the App Store for the simple fact that it is compatible with many files (Office, iWork) in addition to the amount of things we can do with the documents that we open with the application. During these days, they have updated the application to version 3.20.0 and have included many expected improvements by users:

  • New interface: In this update, the GoodReader interface has been greatly improved, including new design tools to make everything more logical when using the available tools.
  • iOS 7: As expected, the application is already 7% compatible with any device running iOS XNUMX
  • Much faster PDFs: Fixed an issue that resulted in PDFs not opening as quickly as possible
  • New bar: At the top we will have a new bar that will allow us to navigate through much larger file structures
  • New audio player: From now on with GoodReader we can open more audio files that also work in the background. If we are reading or modifying a file, we will only have to move a finger to change music, place the player on random or repeat.
  • Manage files (button): Now we can join several files from a single button. In addition, with this button we can copy and join several files at the same time.
  • Import Export: Exporting files outside of GoodReader is now done from the file list, selecting multiple files at once.
  • Labels with more colors: The files will have more than 5 label colors. They can be placed individually or in groups.
  • PDF compression: Before sending an email with several PDFs, GoodReader will take care of compressing them so that they do not occupy so much in your email.
  • Entry in the file list: When we import a new file, we will have a "Tools" button where we can select and perform actions with it.
  • Images to clipboard: Use the clipboard to use images from other applications.
  • File list: The list of files used in the application is divided into three sections: files, folders, and subfolders.
  • iWork 2013: GoodReader supports the new iWork 2013 formats (iOS 7 required)
  • Audio and video files: These videos with links to HTML files can be opened from this last file.
  • Performance and stability improvements
