Currently, Google makes available to us two email clients to manage our Gmail account. On the one hand we find the official application called as the mail service, Gmail. And on the other hand, we have at our disposal Inbox, an alternative application that allows us to manage our mail in a way, in theory, easier.
Inbox hit the market 4 years ago, according to Google, allow us to focus on what is important. Applications that claim to allow us to focus on the most important emails we receive during the day to day, there are many in the App Store, but none of them has managed to become must have for most users. This situation has forced Google to announce that it will stop offering service to this application next year.
The user who uses a mobile mail client, if he has special dependence on this communication channel, does not want a simple clientInstead, you need the email client that offers you the most options at all times.
Google has announced the closure of this service through its Twitter account, an account that, like the application for iOS (which was adapted to the interface for the iPhone X a few weeks ago) had been abandoned for more than a year.
Google will proceed to close this service, which will entail the withdrawal of the application of the app stores for both iOS and Android, during the month of March 2019, without specifying if it will do so at the beginning, middle or usefully the day of March of that year.
If Inbox had become our favorite email client to consulate our Gmail account, we should start to look for alternatives. Gmail is an excellent option, but not the only one, since applications like Spark (free) also offer us a large number of functions that have nothing to envy those offered by the native Gmail client.
