Google Earth Pro becomes free

On the one hand we find Google Maps with which we can access almost all the maps of the world to visualize its streets, documents, traffic conditions, transport lines ... and on the other hand we have Google Earth, which we can access through a version for desktop, either PC or Mac, through which we can access much more technical and useful information for companies and professionals.

This last weekend Google has announced that the Google Earth Pro service, in its desktop version, becomes free. The Google Earth Pro service was available to date under an annual subscription of $ 399. The Pro version has additional functions and software that the normal version does not have, such as the creation of films (of our air travel), GIS importer, advanced printing modules, the possibility of making area measurements and much more.

Google Earth allows us to see images from the satellite, maps, reliefs and buildings in 3D passing through the deepest galaxies in space to the depths of the ocean. In addition lPro version adds professional tools that are adapted to companies and individuals who can get the most out of this application and who until now had to go through the checkout to be able to enjoy all the functions. We can also print images in very high resolution 4800 x 3200 for presentations and reports compared to the free version that limited printing to 1000 x 1000 pixels.

As if that were not enough, Google Earth Pro allows us to make recordings of our virtual flights in high definition, import directions in bulk, make distance measurements using lines, routes, polygons, circles ... This application is used regularly by construction companies, scientists as well as hobbyists to carry out massive measurements, plan routes between the mountains with their corresponding distance, land and sea rescue services ...

To download the application for free, just we have to visit the Google page where this application is located, which is compatible with Windows, Mac and Linux. Previously we have to obtain our free license number that we will have to write once we install the application. Once we fill in all the information, we will receive the license number in our email.
