Google increases the resolution of the maps of the Earth and Maps applications

The Google maps service is the most used in the world, due to the large amount of information that it offers us both through the different mobile applications such as through web service. With Google Maps we can previously take a look at the country we want to visit and visualize it from a pedestrian view or we can visualize the address of the street to which we are going to find a reference that allows us to arrive in a faster and easier way to our destiny. But it also allows us to take a look at geographical areas that we want to visit or simply inspect for our personal or professional purposes through the Google Earth application.

Each month the Mountain View-based company improves satellite imagery to improve Maps and Earth services. Continuing its effort to improve both platforms and the user experience, the internet giant has updated much of the content that we can view through the applications, with high resolution images that allow us to see in more detail the images they show us.

Thanks to the Landsat 8 satellite and new image processing techniques, many areas of the world can now be viewed at higher resolution Compared to the service offered to us so far, which although it was not bad, it could improve a little. As we can see in the image above, the photo above shows us a slightly blurred resolution while the one immediately below offers us much more detail in the same area.

If you want to check more exactly the changes in the resolution that Google has made, you can do it through the Google Maps application or through the Google Earth application, in its different versions, either desktop or good for mobile devices.
