- Contribute: Have you seen an accident Have you seen that a road is closed? Thanks to the contribution of users, Google Maps is much more up-to-date, but above all it has a greater sense of community.
- Updates: If you have started to follow pages of restaurants, establishments or places, this will be the place where their news will be updated. It is a kind of feed where all the content of the things you follow will appear.
This provision is included in the new version of Google Maps. However, not in all countries we can enjoy all the tabs, therefore we will have to wait to have all the functions in our country. On the other hand, Google has announced upcoming improvements around its functions within the application, among which are:
- In public transport, surveys will be conducted to find out the temperature, if there is security or not, if it is a safe place for women to stay alone, how many wagons are free… in this way, personalized content can be offered to users.
- Gradual introduction of liveview, the way to navigate with augmented reality and Street View. Google has promised to improve support for this feature and to polish what's new for this exciting feature.
