The music application Google Play Music for iOS is finally fully compatible with CarPlay car system from Apple. The compatibility of the Google car system allows Google Play Music users to safely control the music they play through the interface they have provided for it.
Google Play Music for CarPlay is organized in four main sections. On the one hand, we have a Home screen, for displaying recommendations. It is then accompanied by a Recents section, which shows — unsurprisingly — content that has been recently played or viewed. After that, we have a section for the music library in which we can navigate through the music catalog that we have saved. Finally, there is a section in which we can find different suggestions in terms of musical genres and collections. These suggestions are released by Google based on the activity we have in the app.
To use this new feature, so we just have to update our application Google Music for iOS to the latest version. This will automatically allow CarPlay support for iPhones connected to compatible systems.
In addition, we can also rearrange the icons so that we have the Google Play Music on the first home screen. For this, the indications are simple. You just have to go to Settings> General> CarPlay> My Car and reorder and place the application icon on the virtual main screen.
