Google Translate is now also a dictionary

The Google Translate application has become for many users their favorite tool to be able to translate not only texts, but also words, although in many cases the results they offer leave much to be desired, due to the simplicity and almost no definitions. But the guys at Google have put their hands to work and have been working in recent months to improve not only their operation, but also one of the functions that many users used: the definitions. The latest update of the application, with which Google Translate reaches version number 5.8.0, offers us more complete results for the words.

Once we update to this latest version, every time we search for the translation of a word in another language, the application will offer us more complete results, with definitions, examples and synonyms in Spanish, French, English and Russian. Thanks to this extra information, it will be much easier for us to understand the meaning of some words that with the operation of the previous application left us on more than one occasion with our mouths open and with a silly face. But this has not been the only new improvement that the Google translator has received.

This new update also offers us the possibility of translating directly with the camera of our device from English to Korean and vice versa, thus expanding the number of languages with which this function inherited from Word Lens, continues to increase the number of languages. By the way, the guys from Google have taken the opportunity to make different usability improvements in addition to making the typical bug fixes.
