A couple of weeks ago, Grand Theft Auto: Chinatown Wars HD was launched and it was already in the App store available for you to buy.

Grand Theft Auto: Chinatown Wars has been redesigned by Rockstar Leeds, the world's leading portable gaming studio, to deliver an even more innovative and critically acclaimed GTA for iPad.

In Grand Theft Auto: Chinatown Wars HD you will take the role of Huang Lee, who after the murder of his father, has a very simple mission: bring an ancient sword to his uncle Kenny to ensure that his family maintains control of all the triads of Liberty City.

KEEP READING the rest after the jump.

Throughout more than 70 main missions and a large number of side missions, your job will be to earn money completing jobs that range from petty street crime, almost all the way to drug trafficking and murder.

I couldn't stop saying "WOAHHHHHH" the first time I launched the game to test it, and since Grand Theft Auto: Chinatown Wars HD is so well designed, it makes you feel like you're using an Xbox console instead of your iPad. The game has been rebuilt from the ground up specifically for the iPad, and thanks to an update to the 3D graphics engine, Grand Theft Auto: Chinatown Wars HD boasts stunning graphics that take advantage of the features offered by the iPad. The gameplay has also been improved compared to other versions, and although it may take a while to master the controls perfectly in order to drive through the streets of Liberty City with ease, the game is mind-blowing when you play it.

Even though most of the game mechanics consist of stealing cars, driving through the city, fighting rival gangs, and escaping from police cars, the game offers a flurry of different missions that help keep you up. action while you play.

In other words, even though you have to drive like crazy, you will be required to carry out many jobs, such as assassinations, sabotaging the cars of rival gang members, blowing up buildings with a variety of weapons. , etc …

On top of all that, the game offers a lot of fun side quests and additional jobs that add to the game experience. You will be asked to smuggle drugs, drive people around town, pose as a cop, drive ambulances, and the list is almost endless. Finally, and as with all the other versions of the GTA series, you can freely roam the city to have fun and destroy everything you want.

The game has a decent soundtrack, but you may want to create your own iTunes playlist instead, as the game is capable of playing your own songs if you tune your car radio to the "independence" station. .

The game comes uncensored, so don't be scared if you drop non-stop curses - they are added to create the atmosphere of the game, but if you have small children, be sure to hide your iPad out of their reach.

Game Pros:

- Grand Theft Auto: Chinatown Wars HD is by far one of the best games for iPad.
- Great graphics with 1024 X 768 touch screen resolution.
- Guaranteed entertainment.
- Great story, the game will keep you entertained for more than 15 hours for the main missions.
- Extra 10 hours more for all secondary missions.

Cons of the Game:

- The game crashes from time to time.
- The controls are somewhat difficult to master.
- The sheer weight of 445MB is huge.

Simply put, the iPad version of GTA is the best version we've seen yet, and it may well be the best iPad game to date.

You can download Grand Theft Auto: Chinatown Wars HD from the App store for 7,99 Euros.
