Guitar by Smule, one of the best musical games

Smule has always been characterized by performing great games musicals, so at least I was not surprised at all by the great quality that the game exudes in practically all its aspects.

Operation

The gameplay has seemed one of the best cared aspects of the game, since the learning curve is very well designed and to that we must add the fact that there is an excellent tutorial at the beginning of the game that helps us familiarize ourselves with how to play, something that is really basic to start with a good foot.

To play the guitar with the iPhone we will slide our finger along the strings when asked with a vertical bar, we will touch a string when a single point comes out and in addition to that we have to synchronize it correctly in time, otherwise we will fail. It is a system very similar in principle to games like Guitar Hero, but later it is complicated to make the game much more frenetic and interesting.

Once we move forward we will see how the difficulty increases depending on the level chosen and we have to shake the iPhone or choose the appropriate tone through different colors, which makes the game really complicated and we will have to get the best of our finger skills to be able to complete the songs successfully.

Well designed

Smule has traditionally got it right with designs of its applications, but it is true that in some it had details that could be improved, which luckily they have been able to recognize over time and improve with new apps. Guitar is really well designed, using pleasant tones and forgetting about the strident colors that should have little prominence in these types of applications.

Both the menus and the game part are made in such a way that nobody can be wrong, looking for simplicity above anything else and playing very well with all kinds of visual aids. It is a clear example of a well thought out application that has a great job behind it from the design team.

The game is also for free And it works on both iPhone and iPad, so it almost becomes mandatory at least to try it and kill the bug of seeing how we can play the guitar even if it is on an Apple device and with a little help.
