Some days ago o of the news we had about the iPad Air 2024 or 6th generation that is making the rounds to be one of the first Apple products for 2024. Everything seems to indicate that the first half of this coming year will be full of an almost complete renewal of the iPad range and the launch or renewal of some MacBook model that was left off the hook in the last update. And this is also confirmed by Mark Gurman, one of the most valued analysts of the moment, who predicts new iPad Air, iPad Pro and a new MacBook Air due in early 2024. We break it all down below.
iPad Air, iPad Pro and MacBook Air: New products to start 2024 right
Mark Gurman is one of the best and most valued analysts in the world of Apple at the moment. He has been working for Bloomberg for more than seven years and since then he has published hundreds of quality news and information about the world of the Big Apple: forecasts, leaks, rumors that have been confirmed and much more.
On this occasion Gurman predict new products that we will see throughout the first half of 2024. One of those products will be the 13-inch and 15-inch MacBook Air whose main novelty will be the incorporation of M3 chip, the latest jewel in Apple's crown. Like the rest of the products that we will see below, its launch will come with an update and in this case it would be macOS 14.3. No major design changes are expected since not long ago Apple changed part of its design and incorporated the 15-inch model.
And on the other hand, we enter the iPad sector which by then will not be updated for more than a year. The launch of the new iPad will also come from the hand of iPadOS 17.4 so we can get an idea that it will be around the month of March. Apple is planning to update, according to Gurman, the iPad Pro and iPad Air.
The iPad Pro will have two models 11 and 13 inches "approximately" and both will have OLED panels. Being the Pro model, Apple will not hesitate to introduce the M3 chip as it will also do with the MacBook Air. In the case of the iPad Air 2024 or 6th generation, you will have two screen sizes: 11 and 12,9 inches, something that is new in this particular model.
Gurman also predicts that Apple will update the Apple Pencil and Magic Keyboard along with iPads. In the case of the pencil, no news has been leaked but in the case of the keyboard, the analyst comments that the new design will make the "iPad Pro more like a computer."
